Fade Angle Control

The Fade Relief tool now includes a direct angle control, allowing you to view and specify fade angles in addition to percentage adjustment.

Safe Z and Home Z defaults

• Safe Z and Home Z settings have been redesigned to provide more predictable behavior between models. New projects now start with default Safe Z clearance values. The default Safe Z clearance value can be customized in the Options.

Global Tolerance settings

• Added configurable global Toolpath, Curve and Triangle tolerance settings to the Options. When enabled, these values are automatically used throughout the software, reducing the need to adjust tolerance settings for individual operations. This is enabled by default for Maker and Maker+ users.

Machine Relief workflow

• The Multiple Z Passes option has been reorganized within the Machine Relief dialog, with clearer controls and guidance to help ensure that users are enabling the right options for their machining strategy.

Open in File Explorer

• Recent models can now be opened directly in File Explorer from the Welcome page, making it quicker to locate project files on disk.

Simulation Deletion

• Vectors are now automatically made visible after deleting a simulation, preventing confusion when the 3D view appears empty after a simulation is removed.

Recent Models

• Resolved an issue that could prevent the Welcome Page from displaying correctly when recently opened files contained non-standard characters and had been moved or deleted.

Application Stability

• Various issues have been fixed that could lead to crashes when closing the software, scaling reliefs, converting vectors, cancelling long-running operations, running simulations, or generating toolpaths.

Latent Imaging on Back Reliefs

• Latent Imaging now correctly applies to whichever relief side is currently selected, allowing latent imaging to be used on both front and back reliefs. (Carveco Pro only)
