Enhancements

  • Undo and Redo Transform Shortcuts: You can now use the standard Ctrl+Z (Undo) and Ctrl+Y (Redo) shortcuts within the Transform Tool to quickly reverse or retry your changes. (All variants)
  • SVG Import: When importing SVG files (Scalable Vector Graphics), the units used in the originating software are now preserved, where possible. This means that you will no longer have to resize the vectors to restore the original size of the design. Please note: this only applies with the Options panel’s Auto-resize vector artwork after import check box is deselected. (All variants)
  • Easier Relief Scaling: The Scale Relief tool displays two arrows in the 3D view that enable you to modify the scale height and detail height. These are now easier to distinguish, making adjustments faster and more intuitive. (All variants)
  • Improved Activation Feedback: Updated error messages make it easier to identify and resolve any issues encountered while activating the software. (All variants)
  • Clearer Machine Relief Error Message: When adding ramps to a Machine Relief toolpath, an error is displayed if an unsuitable angle is specified. This message has been improved to offer a clearer explanation as to why the software cannot calculate your toolpath. (All variants)

Fixes

  • Project Tree Slowdown: Selecting the Simulation item in the Project Tree could result in the software being briefly unresponsive when there is a large library of simulation materials. This has been optimized to remove any delay. (All variants)
  • Mesh Preview: When using Create Triangle Mesh in v1.56, the mesh preview was incorrectly displayed using the standard relief material, making it hard to distinguish from your model. The usual blue preview material has now been restored. (All variants)
  • Activation Errors: The header of the table displaying available licenses no longer obscures error messages displayed while activating the software. (All variants)
  • Autosave: During the autosave process, an error message stating “The specified path does not exist” would sometimes be displayed. This occurred due to the loss of the temporary autosave files. These files will now be restored when necessary, eliminating the error and ensuring you can recover your work. (All variants)
